Professional Services / Peak Body

The Problem

A national peak professional body, representing 100,000+ members across 40+ technical disciplines, delivering accreditation and advocacy nationally, and supporting millions of annual digital interactions, was undertaking a major transformation centred on a new corporate website. With a distributed content model and multiple stakeholder groups spanning industry, government and community, the organisation required immediate senior leadership to define and deliver a modern, scalable digital experience.

Professional Services / Peak Body

Our Task

The brief was to identify an interim Head of Website Experience – a senior, project- based appointment tasked with leading strategy, design and delivery over an initial six-month period. This required a highly capable operator able to step in immediately, take ownership of a complex workstream and deliver outcomes without the need for long onboarding or permanent commitment.

What We Did

We moved quickly to define the capability required, focusing on senior digital leaders with experience delivering large-scale website builds, UX transformation and enterprise CMS environments. A targeted search was undertaken, prioritising individuals able to operate autonomously, engage senior stakeholders and manage delivery across multiple streams, including agency and platform partners. We secured an experienced interim leader and managed the process through to placement.

Key Actions

  • Scoped interim brief and project requirements
  • Identified senior digital and UX leadership talent
  • Conducted targeted, rapid search process
  • Assessed for delivery capability and stakeholder engagement
  • Managed placement through to successful commencement.

The solution

An experienced interim leader was engaged quickly, providing immediate direction and momentum to the website transformation program. The assignment is delivering strongly against its initial six-month mandate, with the potential to extend depending on project needs. The result: a high-impact interim solution delivering meaningful outcomes, without the constraints of a permanent hire.

“Interim assignments at this level require speed, judgement and absolute clarity on outcomes. This project demonstrates how the right specialist can step in, solve a complex problem and create impact within a defined timeframe.”
